Chinese Calligraphy met Han

As a calligraphy enthusiast ever since I was 5 years old, I love every art form which allows one to explore body-mind connection through an art creation.

Calligraphy is not about “Writing” itself. It’s not about the result, but the process of it. Do not think about making the most beautiful pieces.

See it as a yoga/taichi medication practice where your hands lead your body, your mind is revealed on the paper flowing with the ink. you’re what your write.
Let it flow.

Enough of the abstract talking, in the 1’5 hr workshop, I’ll guide you through the practice , you’ll practice working with calligraphy brushes, Chinese ink, Chinese rice paper( different forms), then at the end you may bring home with yourself a piece you create with your names, or a phrase.
