Big Band Muziekavond! 🎶🎄
Vanavond is een heel speciale avond: bij DLC kan je live muziek luisteren van een big band en daarna van ‘Joy Goh’!
Wat gaan we doen?
Er komt een big band optreden in DLC! Ze zullen diverse muziek spelen: jazz, kerstliedjes, populaire liedjes, enzovoorts. Daarna speelt gitarist ‘Joy Goh’ samen met zijn studenten! De muzikanten komen voor ons muziekmaken omdat ze het leuk vinden om zo een beetje te oefenen en om de DLC community te leren kennen! We verwachten veel mensen (50+) dus het wordt een gezellige avond!
Planning
19:30 – 20:00 Start van de activiteit: even praten en iets drinken.
20:00 – 20:45 Big B Big Band optreden.
20:45 – 21:00 Pauze.
21:00 – 22:00 Joy Goh en zijn studenten.
22:00 – 23:00 Voel je vrij om te blijven hangen, pingpong of bordspelletjes te spelen, of gewoon te kletsen :)
Eten/drinken
Drankjes en hapjes zullen verkocht worden aan de bar.
Nederlands niveau
Bij dit evenement is iedereen welkom, zelfs als je nog geen Nederlands spreekt! Engels is ok, maar Nederlands spreken kan natuurlijk ook.
Wil je meer Nederlands oefenen? We hebben veel leuke activiteiten en cursussen.
Native Speakers
Is Nederlands je moedertaal? Dan ben je natuurlijk ook van harte welkom! Voor Nederlanders is het ook een erg leuke avond. Je ontmoet nieuwe mensen en het is gewoon erg gezellig! Daarnaast ben je ook nog eens goed bezig omdat je anderen kan helpen met de taal!

Tonight is a very special night: at DLC, you can listen to live music from a big band and then from ‘Joy Goh’!
What are we going to do?
A big band is coming to perform at DLC! They will play a variety of music: jazz, Christmas songs, popular songs and so on. Afterwards, guitarist ‘Joy Goh’ will play along with his students! The musicians are coming to make music for us as they enjoy practising a bit this way and getting to know the DLC community! We expect a lot of people (50+) so it will be a fun evening!
Schedule
19:30 – 20:00 Start of the activity: have a chat and a drink.
20:00 – 20:45 Big B Big Band performance.
20:45 – 21:00 Break.
21:00 – 22:00 Joy Goh and his students.
22:00 – 23:00 Feel free to stick around, play ping pong or board games, or just chat :)
Food/drink
Drinks and snacks will be sold at the bar.
Dutch Level
Everyone is welcome at this event, even if you don’t speak any Dutch yet! English is fine, but of course you’re welcome to speak Dutch too.
Want to practise more Dutch? We have lots of fun activities and courses.
Native Speakers
Is Dutch your native language? Then you’re more than welcome too! It’s a great evening for Dutch speakers as well – you’ll meet new people and it’s just really gezellig! And on top of that, you’re doing something great by helping others with the language.
