Meld je aan voor een studieclub!
Om mee te doen aan de studieclub, moet je eerst lid worden.
Let op: de studieclub is geen les, maar een groep mensen die samen de taal studeren. Als je een docent wilt, bekijk dan onze cursussen. Er is vaak een native speaker die helpt, maar niet altijd.
Wil je als native speaker helpen? Dat kan altijd! Neem gerust contact met ons op :)

Spreek je al goed Nederlands, maar voel je dat je grammatica en woordenschat nog een extra duwtje kunnen gebruiken? Daarom willen we samenkomen om de taal echt te bestuderen. Dit is geen les, maar een studiegroep waarin we elkaar helpen en samen leren.
Wat gaan we doen?
We komen samen om een paar korte taalgerelateerde activiteiten te doen. We ontmoeten elkaar in het Dutch Language Café in het centrum. Er is geen docent aanwezig – dit is geen les, maar een studiegroep waarin we elkaar helpen. Je wordt dus verwacht zelf initiatief te nemen :)
Voorbeelden van activiteiten:
- Werken met een B1-B2-leerboek, zoals Nederlands op Niveau
- Samen een grammaticaonderwerp herhalen
- Woordenschatspellen en quizzen spelen
- Spreekspelletjes doen
- Rollenspellen
- Discussies en debatten over complexe onderwerpen
- Presentaties voorbereiden en geven
Planning / Aanmelden
- Aanmelden kan vanaf 3 weken vóór de eerste sessie.
- Je meldt je alleen aan voor de eerste sessie, maar dat betekent dat je de komende 6 weken in de studieclub zit.
- Spreek met de andere leden af via de studieclub-WhatsAppgroep als je een keer te laat bent of niet kunt komen.
- Na 6 weken is er een week pauze, daarna kun je je opnieuw aanmelden voor het volgende blok.
- Het is belangrijk dat je bij de meeste sessies aanwezig bent.
Wat neem je mee?
Gewoon een notitieboek! We hebben pennen, whiteboards en studiemateriaal. Heb je een idee voor een activiteit, een nuttige tip of studiemateriaal? Breng het mee!
Kosten
Gratis voor enthousiast-leden :) Het is natuurlijk fijn als je een drankje koopt om het café te steunen.
Nederlands
Deze studieclub is bedoeld voor mensen die al Nederlands spreken op ongeveer B1-niveau en zich willen verbeteren. Als Nederlands je moedertaal is, ben je ook welkom om te helpen – stuur Eloise even een berichtje als je interesse hebt! Het is leuk om mensen te helpen en we zijn altijd heel dankbaar :)

To join a study club, you first need to become a member.
Note: the study club is not a lesson, but a group of people who study the language together. If you’re looking for a teacher, check out our courses. There’s often a native speaker helping at the study club, but not always.

Do you already speak Dutch quite well, but still feel like your grammar and vocabulary need a bit of a boost? That’s why we want to come together to really study the language. This isn’t a class, but a study group where we help and learn from each other.
What will we do?
We meet up to do a few short language-related activities. We gather at the Dutch Language Café in the city centre. There’s no teacher present – this is not a lesson, but a study group where we support each other. So you’re expected to take initiative :)
Examples of activities:
- Work with a B1-B2 level book like Nederlands op Niveau
- Revise a grammar topic together
- Play vocabulary games and quizzes
- Do speaking games
- Roleplay
- Have discussions and debates on complex topics
- Prepare and give presentations
Schedule / Sign-up
- Sign up opens 3 weeks before the first session.
- You only sign up for the first session, but that means you’re part of the study club for the next 6 weeks.
- If you’re running late or can’t make it one time, let the others know via the study club WhatsApp group.
- After 6 weeks there’s a one-week break, then you’ll have the chance to sign up for the next block.
- It’s important that you can attend most sessions.
What should you bring?
Just a notebook! We have pens, whiteboards and study materials. If you have an idea for an activity, a useful tip, or some learning materials, feel free to bring them!
Cost
Free for enthusiast members :) It’s always nice if you buy a drink to support the café.
Dutch
This study club is aimed at people who already speak Dutch at around B1 level and want to improve. If Dutch is your native language, you’re also welcome to help – send Eloise a message if you’re interested! It’s fun to help people and we’re always very grateful :)
