Co-working
Elke vrijdagmiddag verwelkomen we al onze leden en DLC-curieusen om te komen werken in ons café. Dit omvat werken op je laptop, Nederlands studeren of een andere stille activiteit zoals lezen. De mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos!
Wat gaan we doen?
Of je nu iemand nodig hebt om samen te werken om een deadline te halen of gewoon een verandering van omgeving zoekt, co-werken met ons is gegarandeerd gezellig. Het idee is om echt te werken en productief te zijn, maar ook om samen te werken of te socialiseren tijdens de pauzes. We hebben supersnel internet en werkbrandstof zoals koffie en gebak beschikbaar aan de bar!
Planning
- 12:30 – Co-werken begint. Dit evenement is niet strikt getimed, dus voel je vrij om binnen te komen wanneer jouw schema dat toelaat.
- ~16:00 – Co-werken eindigt, maar het socialiseren gaat door. Laat de stoom af met pingpong, spelletjes of een gezellig praatje.
Wat neem je mee?
Breng mee waar je aan werkt, of leen een boek uit onze bibliotheek. Je kunt ook drankjes of een gebakje of empanada kopen aan onze bar. Er zijn genoeg stopcontacten, maar het kan geen kwaad om ervoor te zorgen dat je apparaten opgeladen zijn voordat je aankomt :)
Kosten
Het deelnemen aan de co-werk sessie is gratis. Je kunt natuurlijk drankjes en snacks aan de bar kopen.

Nederlands Niveau
Tijdens de evenementen proberen we zoveel mogelijk Nederlands te spreken. We praten langzaam, het is oké als je fouten maakt, en we helpen je graag. De evenementen zijn daarom goed voor mensen die al een basisniveau hebben en meer willen oefenen. Ben je een beginner of vind je het idee van een groepsactiviteit in het Nederlands nog intimiderend? Kijk dan bij onze beginnerscursussen!
Every Friday afternoon, we welcome all our members and the DLC-curious to come work in our café. This includes working on your laptop, studying Dutch, or doing another quiet activity like reading. The options are endless!
What are we going to do?
Whether you need someone to body-double to meet a deadline or just want a change of scenery, co-working with us is bound to be gezellig. The idea is to really work and be productive, but also to collaborate or socialize during breaks. We have high speed internet and work-fuel like coffee and cakes available at the bar!
Schedule
- 12:30 – Co-working starts. This event is not strictly timed, so feel free to pop in when your schedule allows.
- ~16:00 – Co-working ends, but socializing continues. Let off some steam with ping pong, games, or a friendly chat.
What to bring?
Please bring along whatever you are working on, or borrow a book from our library. You can also buy drinks or a cake/empanada from our bar. There are plenty of plug-points, but it doesn’t hurt to make sure your devices are charged before arriving :)
Cost
Participating in the co-working session is free. You can, of course, buy drinks and snacks at the bar.

Dutch Proficiency Level
During the events, we try to speak Dutch as much as possible. We speak slowly, it’s okay to make mistakes, and we are happy to help. Therefore, the events are good for people who already have a basic level and want to practice more. Are you a beginner or do you find the idea of a group activity in Dutch still intimidating? Then check out our beginner courses!

- Dutch level Whether you’re just starting out or a native Dutch speaker, we welcome you to join! We try to speak Dutch as much as possible at DLC, so its helpful if you already know “een beetje Nederlands”, but your Dutch doesn’t need to be perfect! We speak slowly, help you on your way, and don’t mind if you make mistakes :) So if you’re unsure, please come through and we will make it work!
