Hoe proef je bier? hoe proef je kaas? en hoe is de combinatie? Arvid neemt je mee op een interactieve smaakvolle culinaire reis, waarbij je alles leert over bieren en kazen, en tegelijk nog wat Nederlands oppakt!

18:45 – Inloop
19:00 – Start proeverij. Proef in 4 ronden 5 bieren en 6 kazen.
~21:00 – Einde proeverij & napraten
Nederlands
De proeverij wordt gegeven in een combinatie van Nederlands & Engels. Daar waar mogelijk is stimuleren we gebruik van Nederlands, maar geen zorgen als je een echte beginner bent, ook dan zorgen we ervoor dat je de proeverij volledig kan volgen!
Over de gastheer
Arvid is internationaal biersommelier, docent aan de Nederlandse Bieropleiding StiBON, chefkok en auteur van boeken over bier en eten. Hij geeft vele proeverijen, lessen, trainingen op festival, bij bedrijven, café’s en restaurants. Ondanks zijn achternaam Bergström komt hij uit Nederland en hij heeft een droge humor en doortastende leuke manier van presenteren. Hij spreekt ook Engels, dankzij een jaartje High-School in Nashville, TN.

6:45 PM – Doors open
7:00 PM – Tasting begins. Sample 5 beers and 6 cheeses over 4 rounds.
~9:00 PM – End of tasting & informal chat
Dutch
The workshop will be conducted in a mix of Dutch and English. Where possible, we encourage the use of Dutch, but don’t worry if you’re a complete beginner—we’ll make sure you can follow the workshop fully!
About the host
Arvid is an international beer sommelier, instructor at the Dutch beer school StiBON, head chef, and author of books on beer and food. He leads numerous tastings, classes, and training sessions at festivals, companies, cafés, and restaurants. Despite his last name, Bergström, he is from the Netherlands and has a dry sense of humor and a lively, engaging presentation style. He also speaks English, thanks to a year of high school in Nashville, TN.
