Café and shop

The Dutch Language Cafe is a place where you can go to any time you want, to meet people, have fun, and speak Dutch! There is always something fun to do (ping pong, board games, reading, knitting, puzzles, etc). It is the ultimate place to get confident speaking Dutch!

How it works

You can basically use it as any other café – just come in for a drink and a snack.

Our games and books

Many resources, such as our shuffleboard, mini pool table, books and children’s toys, are free to use.

• Board games: €3 per person for the whole day!
• Ping Pong: €3 per person for the whole day!
• For €5 per person you have unlimited access to both!

These materials are chosen to help facilitate interaction – and they are also simply plain fun! If you are not going to play board games or table tennis, you only need to pay for what you buy at the bar. Dutch Language Cafe members always can use everything for free! • Wednesday: 11:00 – 22:00
• Thursday: 11:00 – 22:00
• Friday: 11:00 – 23:00
• Saturday: 11:00 – 17:00
• Sunday: 10:45 – 17:00

• a sjoelbak (Dutch shuffleboard)
• a bookshelf full of Dutch books for all levels and interests
• a piano and guitar

• knitting needles and wool from Wool for Warmth
• jigsaw puzzles
